Hello, and welcome to the October issue of ESPC Property & Interiors!
As we settle into the autumn months, it’s time to hunker down and get
cosy if you’re planning on staying in your property for the season ahead –
and we’ve got all the advice you need, with tops tips to create an inviting
ambience and our pick of the products to create a ‘dark feminine’ feeling
in your home that’s perfect for the cooler months.
If you’re thinking of buying a property, don’t miss our feature on buying
with friends – or our real buyer interview on page 40, with an ESPC
buyer who purchased her first home with her sister. We’re looking at
West Lothian’s property market this month, and some famous filming
locations if you want a home with history on the silver screen. As ever,
Laura there are also pages of dream homes fresh on the market for you to
peruse – could one of them be yours?

Laura Mearns, We’re also exploring how home buyers move across the market, how
eco-friendly upgrades could boost your property’s value, and how
 Editor
the Edinburgh rental market has changed since new legislation was
 introduced six months ago.
 Happy reading!
