AT HOME WITH


 That August, the sale was completed, and
 Heather, Brian, Rosie and Olive moved into
 their new home. However, as Heather explains,
 they weren’t quite prepared for the scale
 of  work  that  faced  them  on  the  journey  of
 transforming the villa into their dream family
 home.

 “The house was a blank canvas and had some
 features we wanted to update. We were very
 excited when we looked around the house, and
 we didn’t look too closely at what bigger work
 may need to be done,” Heather reveals. “That
 means we were not prepared for the amount
 of renovation we had to do to make it our own.
 Saying that, I am pleased we didn’t know, as it
